We started the day by reading and correcting David's blog. Then, after that we did the Question, Quote, and Song. The Quote of the week was ''Life moves pretty fast. If you don`t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it'' and this quote was from Ferris Bueller. The Question of the week is: How can slowing down help you be more successful? And the song of the week is ''When I Was Your Man'' by Bruno Mars. Then, we took out our Writing Journals and started taking notes about our Poetry Projects, like how many points we get for each thing and tips on how to do a two stanzas poem and things like that. Then, Ms. Nakada told us to read our poems out loud to our desk partners. Next, we shared our poems out loud to the class, and then showed us a different type of poem to try out if we wanted to, and it was called a Blackout Poem. We then started on Reader's/Writer's Workshop so it was kind of quiet, but not really. Then, the bell rang, and we went off to lunch.
