R.J: 14.4 (15 min.)
20 poems read and drafted                                                     (Anselma read her blog>)

Today, we started the day by correcting Anselma's blog, and she picked me. I feel so much better that I'm not in my usual seat, but we won't talk about that right now. After doing blog corrections and after I got to start typing my blog, we discussed about the essays/ other work and the poems. We also started another grade column to our list for 20 NaPoWrimo poems. Then, we got some of our work back (projects, essays, etc) and the portfolios to them in. While I was doing this, Jose came to tell Kiwi that there were 5 gums in the trash bin outside the classroom. I thought I knew something about it, while hearing Mathan and Kiwi quacking in the background. "Quack, Quaaaaaaa...". I forgot. We then collected the portfolios and took out our poetry packets to read the poem: "There Are Birds Here" by Jamaal May. The poem was about / for Detroit talking about the conditions or the violence there. Even the bad things of it. It also said of a neighborhood day unlike war zones or ruins. I think this was about how the city could seem ruined, or bad but is good, for the children may be ruined in the birdless city. Ms. Nakada asks if everyone in the class are gamers?????????????? After reading the poem, we got worksheets to work on about the poem we just read. We didn't finish the page, and we went off to lunch as the bell rang.

Shoutout to Kiwi, Kuper, Charles(because he asked), Abtin and Jake.
Also shoutout to Shoval and Rozhan... I guess??
And Yonina and David.  (also Shanylah)

P.S I Pick David

Kane got really mad at the Tetris beat box meme.

Danni's my best friend?

I also wondered why so many people spelled Shanylah's name wrong...
Its EZ
