Abtin's First Blog

Agenda
blog/corrections
"Nothing Gold Can Stay" Robert Frost
HW RJ 4.3 T.O. ch. 12
p.167-180

We first read and corrected Shoval's blog. Then, after that, we got out our reading journals and read our summaries to each other. Pony heads home and gets a ride from a stranger. Pony tells the boys Johnny's dead. Dally calls asking for help, but the gang arrives too late. Police shot Dally, who Pony decides wanted to die. Pony passes out and comes in and out of consciousness. He has a visit from Randy and Pony is in a deep state of denial. Then, we get out our reading journals and write "Nothing Gold Can Stay." We write about what it means. It's about youth will fade, everything changes and nothing lasts. We also learn about different types of rhymes. Then, the bell rang and we went to lunch.
